Stevie Stevens, MA

Stevie provides support to adolescents and adults working through anxiety and depression, complex life transitions, identity development, and relational conflicts. She is passionate about working with individuals from neurodivergent communities including ASD, OCD and ADHD, individuals hoping to explore non-traditional relationships, gender fluidity, and sexual identities, and those hoping to cultivate a life aligned with their values and various identities.
Drawing from an Internal Family Systems (IFS) model, Stevie aims to help clients explore the various parts of themselves with curiosity and compassion, fostering healing and integration. She also uses principles from Mindful Self-Compassion to nurture self-acceptance and self-love and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), empowering clients to embrace their unique identities, emotions, and experiences. She offers a safe space where clients can show up authentically and rediscover the parts of themselves that are creative, curious, confident, and connected.
-
Stevie recently earned her Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northern Arizona University, in Flagstaff, Arizona. While completing her degree, she provided therapy to undergraduate and graduate students navigating intense emotions and suicidal thoughts while exploring the intersection of their sexual, racial, gender, and professional identities. During this time, she also discovered her passion for couples counseling, specifically with couples hoping to deepen their intimate connections, rediscover each other's passions, and realign their values and goals.
Before returning to school for her counseling degree, Stevie gained four years of experience therapeutically supporting neurodivergent adolescents and young adults, primarily on the autism spectrum (ASD). She feels at home when providing holistic therapy to individuals of all neurotypes with hopes of seeing the world through each person’s unique lens and meeting clients where they are at, possibly a local trailhead!
Outside of the therapy office, Stevie enjoys crafting, scrapbooking, and tie-dying. She makes sure to always have plans for seeing live music, camping, or traveling to a national park.
